Camshaft Position Sensor...help!

Monday I started my car and I had a misfire and then it died. I started it back up and everything was fine. The second drive after the incident the CEL came on. The third start after the initial problem it took three tries to start it.

I pulled the codes and got a:

P1000 OBD-II Monitor Testing Incomplete
P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Today I installed a new Camshaft Position Sensor. I have not had any problems starting the car but I have got the Service Engine Soon light twice since replacing it with the sames codes....

What else could it be?

What brand sensor did you get? Could be a faulty new one, things like that I always get OE stuff.
