I thought we've beat this topic to death? Yes, it can be done, and with very very minimal effort. I ran a 70 on my Explorer intake for several years.

70MM would be easy... i bet i could get damn near a 90 in my non EGR upper if i spent enough time with a die grinder

A 70mm gasket will come with the 70mm TB if bought new. If you're buying it used, 70mm gaskets can be bought from Summit, Jegs, etc.

I'll go ahead and say it, anyone who tells you that you can't port match an Explorer intake to match a 70mm TB needs to be chased out of here with a stick.

There is a guy on SBFtech that did just that, but it was an EGR intake that he cut and welded (Explorer). It was kind of comical, but pure awesome at the same time.
