Can an aftermarket CD head unit operate a stock cd player?

I have a `94 GT that has the "premium" stereo with the CD player beneath it. Can an after market CD head (Audiovox Rampage 427) unit be wired to operate the factory CD player?

No it cannot.

not the question is what do you put in the space where the stock CD player was ? Lets here some suggestions!
