can any one help? super rich

i have an 88 and it is running really rich hydro carbons are high 436ppm and
CO is 2.61%. oxeygen sensors are working and they are ford ones, i have tested almost everything on the car and test results look good gas is expensive now and even more now with it running so rich if any one can help it would be great thanx

Have you done a basic tune-up lately? Cleaned MAF and IAC? Old fuel? I was running really rich for a while until I figured out the car was not getting warm enough and it would stay in cold loop mode and go through lots of fuel.

no codes and doesnt have a MAF 02 sensers are working so it is going into closed loop

Non mass air with a b-cam? I am not the expert but maybe that is the issue. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

they say a performance cam will not work in a speed density car but there is lots of people with B,Eand F cams in speed density cars
