Can anybody confirm that these photos are of a 91-93 roller cam and not a stock 87-90 2.3 cam. Thanks.

When I clicked on your links, they both took me to a home page, Canada? No cams.

Here, hopefully this will work.

Also, I know it is kind of hard to tell, but what kind of shape does it appear to be in? The guy said it came from a 91 and it had 91,000 miles on it, but the engine may have been swapped once already. I just don't want to pay this guy money for a) a cam that I already have and don't want (slider) or b) a cam that my machinist wont put in for me anyway

Thanks for the help.

looks like solid rollers to me.

I wish the 2.3(Lima) cam fit the 2.0 (pinto), I want rollers so bad.

Those lobes look pretty rough to me, especially in the second photo.

I agree the lobes do look pretty rough. But from what I can see in the pictures it is a ranger roller cam.

FIRST picture is a slider cam. Junk.

second picture has a roller follower but I can't see that the cam itself is the real deal. I need to see a picture that shows the actual cam profile.

Thanks. RayIII, what makes you so sure that it is a slider?

When I looked at the pic the shiny spot on the follower looked square so I thought it was a slider. NOW I look closer and it could be a roller. I dunno...

Can't see why someone would group roller followers with a ripoff cam so it's probably a roller cam. A better pic would be nice though, did you email the dude?

I did email the guy and these are the pictures he sent me. He said that it came out a 1991, so Im assuming that it should be a roller. I just wanted to double check that it wasn't actually from a 1990 that he thought was a 1991 or something.
