i have posted this thread 3 times now and have got nothing back so far. i know ive asked a bunch of questions in the past few days but i just discovered stang net and have had a bunch of questions that needed answering.. well here it goes again. i am wanting to install some new rocker arms and want to get them in right. i have put rockers on stuff before but i just went about it the wrong way i just bolted them down and the ones i am getting are adjustable too so i want to know what is the right way. i have never had any problems with just torquing them down before but i dont want to risk it with these. i would like to understand about valve lash and the proper settings for it. can anybody help me?

you shouldnt post multiple threads of the same thing. sometimes it takes us a few days to reply to you with something that is actually useful.

stud rockers have a stud that mounts in the head, with a nut on the end that holds the rocker on, and like a set screw in the middle.

pedestal rockers have a bolt in the middle to hold on the rocker.

pedestal rockers are non adjustable, stud rockers are adjustable usually
