Your best bet is to call Liz at Team Saleen. I believe the number is on their web site (her extention is 108 I believe). If not, I'll post it here Monday when I get to work. I don't have the number at home... She can verify the VIN for you and let you know what options the car came with. This is the best way to make sure the car is a "real" Saleen. They are pretty easy to copy, even down to the engine bay plaque...
The other option to to check the Saleen registry in the Saleen Book. I believe they list the last four digits of the VIN next to the serial number. All you would need is the year and serial number of the vehicle. I would bet that chances are pretty slim that the last four of the VIN would match if it was a fake...
