I live in Cali too so I am stuck with the 91oct gas as well. The article Propellerhead posted was done in Hayward California. They maxed the timing on 91oct gas. I tried maxing mine but I do get pinging here and there so I backed it off a bit. It's happens only at WOT but it doesn't seem consitant. It is also very quiet so I am not even sure if it's pinging. I tied the NOS octance booster and it seems to pull harder but sometimes I hear it still. I wonder if my MAF is dirty.Jesus said:Ive been wondering about this for a while: What is the timing set at in the base predator tune for an 03 GT? It says it is set up for 93 or better octane gas, but I live in CA and all we get is 91 octane. What should I set timing to with my Predator to run properly on 91 octane? What percentage should I back off the timing at each of the rpm ranges that are available for editing?
Thanks
