Can anyone tell me what year mustang (if it even is from a mustang) that this glass came out of. I just uninstalled it out of my passenger side door and it seems a bit too big. I don't believe it is made for my 1989 Mustang GT hatchback. In the process of changing guide rod bushings and glass bracket hardware coming to find out the window is too big! One thing after another i tell u. I appreciate it.

Convertible and t-top glass are larger than the coupe and hatchback glass. Maybe someone installed glass from one of those in your car?

I'm thinking the same. Coming tho find out they also switched the window bracket with a different one. Top pic is correct. Bottom is from god knows where lol. Ordered the correct 1 already and also picking up a new pass side gkass window. I can't seem to catch a break. I just want to drive this damn thing already !

But you know what man, you're making it your car by doing these things.
It'll be a nice ride because you took care of your car and become less of a pain in the butt that the PO unloaded on you.

Good job fixing the issue yourself though, not many people will do what you did there.

Learning as i go. Great to learn new stuff. The glass actually comes with the correct bracket attached. Can't wait to pick it up and install.

You might want to wear thin leather gloves. I scratch the heck out of my hands wheneve I workr inside a door. And if would help a little if the glass breaks.

Thanks bro. Believe it or not i bought it like this. Looks nice and all but man is there little stuff here and there that needs replacing (probably a given). Mostly interior. Damn hack jobs here and there in the engine compartment. She runs great though.
