Can I Borrow an Xcalibrator or do I have to buy it?

I am picking up my pony tonight and am ready to begin making it faster (and get rid of that pesky throttle slack) but being as I am having to pay for the car I am a lil pressed for cash. Would it be a problem to borrow an xcalibrator or is there a reason I would need to have it? I know that when I do other mods I will need it to reprogram but don't plan on doing this for a while and could either borrow it again or perhaps by that time get my own. Thanks for the help. Can't wait to start drivin this baby.

The Xcal will only work for one car, that keeps one guy from buying it and letting several people borrow it to zap them the tune. You have to zap the original car back to stock before it will be able to pass a tune on to another one.
