Can I Buy A Shelby?

I found a Shelby locally for $44k. Do you think that I could pick it up? I don't know how much I could get for my car if I trade in or sell privately. Its in awesome condition, full Saleen Warranty, less than a year old. What do you all think?

I hear that with some minor upgrades and my car being lighter that I might even be able to keep up with one but thats not what I want. I want one...not to keep up with one. What do you guys think?
