Can I get rid of my Vaccum system (lines)? please help!

Im already eliminating my Egr system due to headers, but i was told by a friend that i could elimnate my whole vaccum system and that i might benefit from it, i was under the impression that your car needed the system to run....anyone know anything about this topic?

yeah get rid of it, while your at it get rid of the alternator, we dont need one of them things anyways, also you can get rid of.... ehh nevermind.

im pretty sure you need the vacuum lines, but the emissions stuff can get taken out. at least that was the way it was for my buddy's Z28, there has to be some similarity

you would'nt gain anything and it would cause all kinds of problems. the hoses all long as they are ok don't cause any performance problems.
