I'm tired of my hose blowing off my Pro-M MAF because of the terrible design of the housing. It has no lip on the outlet side, rather it's tapered, so the hose blows right off under boost. Can I just retain my same sensor and buy a new housing?

I think they require that you mail it back to them and get it recalibrated for 100 bucks. Thats what they told me anyway when I emailed them about having mine converted to a shortie.
Have you checked on the forced induction sites to see what they do? I'd almost fab up complimentary flanged adapters instead. I can think of ways I might increase of coefficient of friction (you have a chromed MAF I assume) on the part where the Fernco style connector rides (but the ideas are nothing I'd post. It's just an idea in the vein of brainstorming).

Nice, now, do I need to get the exact size that I have now? I would think that if it flowed even a little more air, the flow numbers and calibration would be off if I didn't have the same size.

This sounds right to me. Going with a bigger MAF housing could lead to a lean condition (housing vs housing; I know nothing of how it would affect things in the real world for you and your tune).GToddyT5 said:
