I just recently bought a really nice 5.0 with 15x9 welds and 11.5x28 et streets. It appears that they rubbed the paint off the wheel well lips. It also likes like someone hacked off the inside of the lip. I am going to get the car repainted and don't want to mess of the paint by having them rub again. Can these tires fit with the lips properly trimmed or should i sell them and get some 10.5s.

Thanks. I can't find anyone to help me with this!

Yeah, I say the 28" is too tall. 11.5 wide would probably be fine (if they work now without rubbing the insides, but they are kinda tall. I'd look into some 26" like mob has. I can show you pics of a 28" tire vs a 26" tire on my GT if you want

ET streets aren't that great anyway.
Get a set of bfg or MT drag radials that fit properly.
There's really no reason these days to be squeezing oversized tires on the car, doesn't do anything for traction.
