can i put a 04 cobra super charger on my 04 f150?

I just got a 2004 f150 with the 4.6 liter engine in it, and i thought it would be cool if i could put a supercharger in it and crank out come more power . I have a 1991 5.0 and i know mostly about those motors and what you have to add and change to run a s/c. But i dont know alot about 4.6's and was wondering if you could help me.... What would i have to change to put a 2004 cobra s/c on my truck and would it bold directly up or is this a totaly different made motor? Thanks for the help!

I thought the Lightnings used the Eaton M112? Anyways, the '04 Cobra blower won't fit because it is made for DOHC heads not SOHC. You'll have to do some custom fab work for it to fit. The same goes for the Lightning and Harley Davidson blowers because they are meant for the larger 5.4L V8's not the 4.6L's. Kenne Bell or Saleen would be a good choice for roots or twin screw supercharger for a 4.6L. You can also try some of the centrifugal's out there. Paxton and Vortech seem to be the most popular.

Correct, Lightnings use the M112 Eaton supercharger.(mines ported )
