ive heard that you can take out the rear quad shocks,is there somthign u need in order to do it ..does it really help the rear end drop for weight transfer..i also heard you can only do it with aftermarket comtrol arms adj or non adj dosent matter....

Don't do it UNLESS you want lots of wheel hop or have all the upper & lower aftermarket control arms already installed. There is no advantage in removing them unless your tires rub them.

Just turn them upside down so that the smaller portion is where the tire is. 275s should fit if you do that, I have 255s with the quad shocks on stock and I have about 1/4" of clearance.

I wouldnt recommend it unless you have to for clearance. I have BBK lowers and FRPP uppers, replaced bushings with polys and what not. I removed my quads and that thing hopped like a bunny (Easter). So I put some KYB replacements back on.

Yes you can turn them around. You only get wheel hop when you really get the tires spinning.
