honestly, i have yet to see this done right, however theres always a possibility. why dont you just dump it before the axle. i have a hard time beliving your car is "too low" to have tips because my last mustang (93 gt) had a 2" drop on it along with 3" tips coming under the bumper (not my idea lol) and would rarely scrape on things unless you were being careless.

First off just because you own a cobra doesn't make you king of all mustangs. Second Your list of mods on it isn't all that impressive, nor that creative. More so looks you read what is most popular to buy and whipped out the ole CC. If you're going to be serious about posting on a site its best to see who posts what, and maybe figure out what they have and if they know what they are talking about. I don't post much on SN(cause of people like you) but I can tell that dagger knows what he is doing with his car. I could care less if he is a mod or not to be honest. Its the fact he knows a good amount.

i can honestly say i would never do it. it can be done and look good. but mostly a hack job. to the ugly response to all of the guys opinions why? you know you are in the talk section and asked about an unpopular mod so of course most of the guys will say don't do it. we all love stangs and hate to see them all hacked up. most of the guys here are great and are about having fun so expect crazy comments and realize it's mostly in fun so have a laugh and chill.
I actually like the bottom part cut out for the tails to stick through....that's not bad at all, but making a hole is retarded.

Yes, those actually do look good. They're both cleanly done and I honestly don't understand all the negative behind the responses with ths subject. It is ok to be different. It's not much different looking than the bumper/tailpipes on a 99-04 GT. I've seen it done many times in person and have seen some jobs that looked so good that it almost looked like it came from the factory that way. Why so much hate and rebellion with this topic?
I completely understand the comment's when referring to a job like SS coupe's old car but if it's done like the examples I've posted, what's really the big problem?
