Can I swap a '95 into a '93?

Would a '95 HO 5.0 motor and manual trans fit into a '93 fox body? Do I just need to swap the motor mounts and put the foxbody mounts onto the motor and it will bolt up? I just want to check if it will fit or not becuase I found one for a good deal. I don't care about the ecu and electrical because I have that covered I just want to know if I can get the motor and trans bolted up. Thanks in advance.

your gonna have to change the motor mounts, timing chain cover/waterpump (not 100% on that), upper/lower intake. You can see that the upper is a bit different and the difference between the lowers is that the 94/95 have a hole in the middle of the intake for EGR purposes, and the 86-93 lowers dont have that hole.... Fuel rails are different too

also the tail shaft on the 95 t-5s is longer so you want to go with the 93 trans.

rx7spirit when you did your street port on the 7, what apex seals did you go with? i just sold my 1980 widebody 7 so i could finish my trans on the stang.

I just went with the new 2 piece 2mm stock ones from mazda. I wanted to get the RA 2 piece 2mm ones but couldn't at the time =( o well maybe next time. Anyways, I don't think I made my question clear enough. I have a complete long block engine with all accessories, trans and everything else needed. I take it everything will go in once the mounts are switched. I just have to figure out how to make the gauges, electronics, trans, driveshaft and new rearend work. Thanks for the help, if you want to clarify something for me please do I'm open to suggestions or more help. Can I ask why I would need to change upper and lower intake's? and the timing chain cover and water pump etc.? It comes with all of that do i have to change it for fitment purpouses?

the upper intake on the 95s has bend where the t/b mounts, the timing cover because the accessories are placed different on the 93 then the 95. gauges shouldnt be a problem, but the dizzy is different on the 95s. see how the ignition module is mounted right to the 93 distributor, well in the 95s it was mounted under the air box. The drive shaft from the 95 will be too long if you use the 95 trans, because the tailshaft is too long for the fox. also the hedders are run different on the 95 because of space problems but just use the 93s.Now on the rearend are you swaping to a 95? its a little wider also 5 lug and disc, so that will be nice with the right proportioning valve.

well I just found out that nothings happening with the car now. My brother just wants to sell it now so I guess I can't have this fun experience with the car

I have a 95 transmission...in my 93...just shorten the input shaft...

its the output shaft thats longer thats why the tail is longer.you could use the output shaft and tail houseing from the 93, but why do all that when you can just use the 93 trans and not change anything.
