Can I take apoart my heads to bead blast them and put them back together again??

Ok,

Want to bead blast my heads,

Now I have all the tools needed to takeapart the heads,
However,

Once you have taken a valve out of its seat do you need to regrind it?

OR can I just put it back together and everything will be fine?

To clean the valves im guessing wire wheel and dont bead blast them right?
Or will they be ok to be blasted?

Why do you want to do this? You risk getting all the sediment in the heads such as the valve guides.....If you take the valve out you won't have to lap them if you put them back in the spots they came from. Meaning numbering each valve and putting it back in the place it came out of. Once oyu take the valve seals out, youbetter replace them because after a long time such as stock ones, they will become hard and will probably damage going back in. You should change the valve seals if they are old while you have the heads out anyways....

No this isnt for stock heads,


and there pretty low mileage anyway

after bead blasting id clean then thoroughly anyway

I just wanna know if it was cool to do,

So If I took a valve out it had to go back in the exact same position it came out?
Or just same valve guide?

This is what I was thinking in my head,
Ill clean the combustion chamber first then make a line with a sharpie or something,

Yes you can do this. I would put new valve stem seals on when reassembling. Just mark the valves by cylinder number on the face. Intake and exh are obvious. If they have shims on the springs, put each spring, keeper, shims, and retainer in its own plastic bag and label for the cylinder and valve, ie no 1 intake, etc.

You will need to make sure you do not get abrasive in the valve guides or on the seats, and that you thoroughly clean the heads before reassembly, at least by having a machine shop hot tank them, and then an hour of soap and water afterwards.

Nearly any kind of abrasive, sand, aluminum oxide, or otherwise will leave residue everywhere and requires serious cleaning. I sandblasted valvecovers once, and 16 years later, I still can get sand particles out of the oil baffles, although it does not seem to have ever hurt the engine.
