My 99 cams are bad and I need some cost effective replacements. I can get a set of 03's for a good price.

Are the 03 cams a blower, higher lift type cam from the 99s?

I don't have a supercharger on it yet but maybe in a year so I'm thinking the 03 cams would be good for that, am i right?

I'm going to have the heads professionally cleaned and reassembled with Crower or CompCam high lift race springs with titanium retainers. Does this sound like a good combo with the 03 cams?

Please at least answer the if I can use the 03 cams on the 99 heads as I have to make a decision on that in the next day or two.

Thanks!

The 99-01 exhaust and 03-04 exhaust cams are actually the same. Its the intake cams that are only different between the two.
Anyways you will have no problem running the cams from the 03 on your 99. You really don't need a valve spring upgrade running those stock cams. It would be a good time to upgrade the springs while the heads are out of the car though. Just incase later on down the road you plan on going with aftermarket cams that require a spring upgrade.

I have heared a person say that he lost top end on a mach1 going from the Mach1 cams to the 03 cobra cams but got a tiny mitrange bump. It might be more worth to get Mach1 cams (same as a Navigator I believe)

His imagination. 03 Cobra = Mach 1 = Navigator. Same cams on all three.

I was under the impression the intake on the Cobra(03)was less agressive.

correct, you will lose peak power with the 03 intake cams.

01 cobra
Intake: 196 deg @.050/.392 lift
Exhaust: 194 deg @.050/.390 lift

Mach 1, 03/04 Cobra, Aviator, Marauder
Intake: 184 deg @ .050/.394 lift
Exhaust: 196 deg @ .050/.397" lift
