the pressure plate can be turned if it is really bad, but it will take longer to do as it has to be disassembled to be done right.

What Clutch

I don’t mean to hijack your page but I am getting ready to convert to a T5-z in my 67 and I don’t know what clutch to get. I have a mildly built 289 but I plan to add Nitrous down the road, just for the wow factor. I have been looking at the King Cobra clutch, and the Centerforce DF. I like the price of the King Cobra but is it as good as I have heard? I have also heard that the Centerforce can be too grabby. As you probably figured this car is driven 90% of the time in town. Any suggestions or other options you have will be most welcome? Thanks for your time,

The King Cobra is a GREAT clutch! The Centerforce in my opinion is utter garbage. I installed one during the summer and 1 trip to the track was all it took to completely take out the clutch (disk is at min. thickness). Funny how my old King Cobra has over 25 passes on it and it's near perfect. This is with 405rwhp also.

Hope this helps someone.
