I own a 93 mustang lx I want to add a turbo. Can I do this with the stock 2.3? Will my piston's hold up? If I can will a turbo out of a TB work? Thank's for the help on the gears. I have instaled the five speed and it's great!!!! Where could I get a performance clutch from? I bought a new one from advance auto, But all they have is stock. Thank's jonafer23

Can you search? If so, you can find ALL the info you want. Matter of fact, I bet you could find all the info 5 times over by just searching for my posts (let alone everyone elses).

Not trying to be rude, just tipping you on the gold mine of info that's available to you if you'd use it.

That link in my signature would be a good idea too.

Yes, using the search, or the FAQ would be a first good idea on this site. This topic has been discussed many, many times, so i'm sure that you can find EVERYTHING you need by searching.

Lucky you! I broke the compression rings in #2.
The head gasket is a day job. Rebuilding the engine took me a month or more.

Click on Stingers "Project Horse Power" link its one of the best all around sites for turbo swap info.

It takes a hair more to turbo a DP DIS 2.3L and would be easier to drop in a 2.3T from a 87-88' TC. If you really want to use your DP DIS 2.3L try running a search on www.turboford.org for Jamine 78'pinto he has done this before and has some detailed notes on it.

Good luck on either way you go.
