can lightning wheels be put on a mustang?

i have always wondered if this was possable. i think it would look pretty bad a$$, but i bet they are heavy as heck. so i guess it would be worthless to me , im trying to lighten up. would they fit though?

never seen it before. and no one ever said they were intergradible. still a shot in the dark

No, lightning wheels can not fit on a mustang without adapters. Mustang's have the same bolt pattern as Ranger's (5x4.5) and the F150's have 5x5.5(I believe). So, in short, you will need to have custom adapters made which can not be safe if not designed, or cut exactly right.

I think I have seen a ranger with mustang wheels around town, could be wrong though.

Pretty sure Ive seen rangers with cobra R's before. Also have seen a Datsun 280z with Cobra R's...crazy stuff.

I've seen Cobra R's on Rangers and Explorers. Wouldn't the offset for the Lightning wheels be wrong as well?
