hey all, here is my situation, i purchased my stang over 9 years ago, it was a theft recovery so it had no vin numbers. all i have is a yellow ny state provided vin sticker in my doorjamb and on some body parts which were put on when i took the car to 907a inspection. i am trying to find the complete vin so i can get some history on the car. while swaping to the stalker front bumper i found this tag on the rad support. i know the production number is 199547. is there a way to get a complete vin from this tag? is there anyplace that a complete vin would be? i do not have one in the windshield, and the stickers have been removed from fenders, bumpers etc... i know its a 91 gt convertible

What do they do with the original VIN stickers on the doors, hood, and trunk/hatch?

they remove all the cars original stickers. they also remove the vin from the winshield, it amazing how they can remove the plate withou doing any damage to windshield or dash.
