Can someone reveiw my parts list AND pics from my project!!

Ok im rebuilding a shortblock I got from a freind. Right now its down to a bare block. I need to know all the gaskets I will need to put it back together. I also took my transmission off and will be throwing in a nice clutch so if you can think of any parts I should need lemme know. This is what I came up with:

Intake Manifold gasket- Felpro 1250
Head Gaskets - Felpro 8548 pt 2
Rear Main Seal
Front Crank Seal
Timing Cover Gasket
Water Pump gasket
Felpro 1 peice oil pan gasket, rubber ,(Part number ???)
Freeze plugs
Timing Chain
Cam Bearings
Crank bearings
Rings
Oil Pump
Header Gaskets (Part Number??)
Gasket for lower/upper cobra manifold.
AutoLite 24's
Oil and Filter
AntiFreeze
Transmission Fluid- Mercon/Dextron III
Throw out bearing
Pilot Bearing(roller)
Adjustable Quadrant/firewall adjuster
Joe's Trickflow Heads/Pushrods/Rockers
Dereks ARP main bolts and head bolts
Dereks Centerforce stage II clutch
Machine my flywheel


Is that all I need to reinstall my tranny/ add a set of heads to my car and rebuild my shortblock? Can you think of anything else?

i looked through your list... you said crank bearings (aka Main bearings) you forgot the Rod bearings i think

Yeah thats what i meant, I bought she shortblock from a freind and he gave new new rings/bearings and oil pump.

didn't notice any forged pistons in there. is the short block an 87-92 fox motor. i'm sayin this cuz i thought you are runnin a blower.

tonight i got my flywheel, clutch, bellhousing and tranny installed onto the engine

shes ready to go back in

Yes you do and the shortblock is from a 87 wit h75k on the clock. So yes to forged pistons, thanks for the sparkplug clearup, i didnt know that.

LOL, thanks for the heads. I still havent had a chance to really look at them but I cant wait to slap them on. NitroStang is selling alphabet cams for $75, think one of those could be good for my setup? What were you running?

Rog used those heads with a TFS stage I. Those pushrods are basically for that cam. You won't have any clearance issues. Summit has it and it's not that expensive.
