I wanted to know if I can change out my complete dash and cluster for the 89 dash and cluster. I have an 86, and I figure I would need the dash and cluster, but is there anything else?

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

the dash and the cluster swap right in. make sure you use and 87 dash harness. The 86 dash is the nicer unit though.unless yours is completely trashed theres really no point.

if thats the case yes. get one from and 87/88 and make sure the dash harness is with it. those years are the only ones that will mate with your engine harness and not cause issues. I'm a big fan of stuffing autometer gauges in the 86 cluster. comes out clean and they fit right in.

Also I wanted to know if I decide to keep the cluster, can I replace the gauges to more modern autometer ones. Abd what sizes would I need?
