yes you can, but think of it this way.. What will you do if you dont have the tweecer, or need to disconect it for some reason. The car wont run, plain an simple. You really want a meter thats cal'ed for your injectors, and not have to rely on the tuner to correct that for you.

"The right way to do it is to tell the EEC (many different solutions are available to do this) the real transfer function of the MAF you are using, and the real size of the injectors you are using."

http://www.turbomustangs.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=13781 thats were the qoute is from, but Oink is right you should recal the maf that way if your tweccer goes out you can still drive

I think he's talking about if you have to take the twEECer out than your calibration is not in the computer.

As for the recal thing, the answer is no.

Example: I was right at the point of pegging my stock maf with stock tb & catback using 30# inj's.
I knew that when I upgraded the tb & cb the maf would not work.
I got a 80mm maf from ProM caled for 30's which allowed more room for airflow.

Before I got the new maf I was using 30's with the stock stuff cause the Tweecer allowed me to tell the pcm I had the 30's.

I'm trying to show that maf cal and using a tuning device to change the size of the inj's in the cal file of the pcm is not the same thing.

Hope that makes since!

I am running a 24lb callibrated pro m 80mm maf, I have 30lb injectors on the car. I had a chip made last week. The tuner said they had to play w/ the mass air transfer function. Does this sound right? I have a 92 5.0 not an sn95.
