HELP!
1965 Mustang with a 287 V8 and an automatic transmission. Convertible. I was replacing the seal around the shifter / kick down cable. I had the transmission pan off and the valve body out when all of a sudden I heard something drop. It feel from around the area where the transmission pan opening is. I don't know where it came from or where it goes. It might have fallen out of the transmission or somewhere nearby.
Does anyone know what this part it and where it goes? I don't need any guesses. I'd rather leave it out then put it back in the wrong spot.
