I haven't heard of anyone doing that. I kind of like it being quiet...nobody knows whats under the hood until I stomp it.

Yeah, mine is quiet too. No one knows what I have under the hood unless they see my A-pilar and see the boost gauge. But boy, once I floor it is like going at warp speed...and the competition is left behind! The other day I took the car for a spin (I barely drive my car...it is always in my garage) and this kid on a 99 GT is behind me and wanted to race me. On the next traffic light he is standing next to me and said that my car looked nice but he wanted to see if it was powerful as it seemed. I noted that his car was superchaged because I could hear the whine. I honestly don't like to street race and also don't like to race fellow stangers. But his attitude had me. And guess what? I took the sh*^@ out of him. Then we met again on the freeway and he kept extremely close to me. We hit it again from a 40 mph roll...and boy, know I'm sure my car is so darn powerful...as soon I floored it he was left behind like 2.5 cars. That's what I love from my KB S/C...the tons of torque at low RPMs.

Yea, I watched a video of one on the dyno, and it seemed almost as loud as a cobra with a flowzilla. Was this an exception?

T&J built a 2V stroker with KB and custom 8-rib setup. The 8-rib made that the loudest blower I've ever heard. Of course the wider belt didn't hurt in the boost department either.

Mine was VERY quite until I put on the CAI, larger TB, and Big Tube kit from KB. I can now hear the blower a lot more. I can even hear the air traveling into the TB. If I am crusing at 65mph in 5th gear, though, I can't hear it at all. I like that because I like to hear ALL of the music when I am cuising. But the sound of my blower spinning up while I easily pass a 3000GT is very cool.
