Can you use a 99-03 Rear Veiw Mirrow on a Fox? Reason inside

Ok,

I want to use a 99-03 Convertible Rear Veiw mirror on my Fox,

Will it fit?

I have a sunroof in my Fox and the interior light sucks, Its a stupid little square looking light that I have to turn on via the dimmer switch and I HATE that, Esp when you have people in the car and they need the light on and YOU have to turn it on and off for them!

So I want to wire up a Vert Mirror from a 99-03 (best looking ones) and then people (incluing myself) can have there own light and its easy to turn off and on,

Why wouldn't it? as long as the mounting tab on the windshield is the same it will fit, most cars have the same mounting tab glued to the windshiled, so your options are not just limited to a Mustang mirror.

yeah most are universally the same. They all have that little mounting tab glued to the windshield and then a set screw holds the mirror on.

The trick is to run the wire into the headliner and then down the a-pillar to find 12V constant.

I actually put a Lincoln Mark 8 electrochromatic dimming mirror in mine. I got spoiled by the auto-dimming mirror in my old Mark 8 (the famous porno car)
