hey all.. sorry to make a thread about something like this, but i am at a loss about what to do.

the e brake equalizer cable that goes from the handle/spring mechanism to the two brake lines underneath the car was snapped when i bought it.

i've looked all over ebay and other websites (including 50resto) and have called all the ford dealerships around

there aren't any junkyards near me, otherwise i'd be all over it.. if i could even find a mustang there.

so now I call upon the power that is stangnet to please help me find this part so i can stop leaving my car in gear whenever i park.

if you can get this part from a stang you have or from a nearby junkyard, i'd be very willing to pay!

to see what it looks like, see the attached picture. it's from 50resto and looks almost exactly the same, but the length is different (it's for 87-93), so it wouldn't work.

thanks a lot!

Swope Ford, Elizabethtown, Ky. 270-737-1000. But they all use the same parts book, no reason one can get it and another can't..?? right??
BTW. they are a bit of a pain to put in, your P-brake handle spring has to be rewound and tensioned, takes three and a half hands minimum.. your haynes manual will kind of give you an idea on how to lock it, but not how to get it wound, you have to unbolt it, and then wind it, and when you get it far enough, put a small allen wrench or something in it, then bolt it back down, pass the new cable through the floor and attach it, then ease the allen wrench out. Make sure you already have the "T" underneath hooked up before that...
