...until tomorrow afternoon! Going up to the dealer to drop my car off to get my 4.10 gears installed...under warranty too haha I know a tech in the shop and he is doing it for me. Best part...he's only charging me $100 bucks for the entire install

I'll let you guys know how it is tomorrow!

Holy mother of God!!!

Dear Jesus these are amazing. I LOVE 2nd gear, 3rd gear I can spin the tires in and 4th still pulls like it's actually there! Why the hell did I not get these sooner???

I did get the Motive gears, and before anybody says something about whine, there is VERY little. All the people who have hyped up this gear whine stuff need to STFU. Stop being an old geezer and just turn your radio up a half notch or maybe a notch and problem solved. I only have gear whine on coasting in gear (very very little) and on decel if in gear. I honestly didn't notice the whine until I turned off my radio to talk to my friend and then I could barely hear it. The whine isn't enough to deter you so I'd say GET THEM!

I have gone 80 yet so I don't know what rpm it's at, but whatever, gas mileage can blow me, this is the best mod so far!

If the tech installed them properly, there would be no whine. But ok.

I could go back a hundred times to get it perfect, but the whine isn't loud enough to even make a difference. If you have LCA's, they make more noise than my gears do. Just turn the radio up a half notch to one full notch and problem solved. Best mod I've done so far...spinning part of third is absolutely sick!

Tell me about it. It's really the only reason I got them installed. I was going to save for rims/tires and not get gears this summer but when he said he'd do it for $100 bucks, I traded my iPod to a friend for his gears and then went and got them installed

thats great! i have someone that installs gears for $120. in fact, he just installed them for chubhunter this past week. chubhunter said he was pleased with the results, and the installer said they were the best gears he has ever put in. (410A)

Whoa! Most of my family still lives in Omaha.....it may be time for a road trip! I was quoted $950 parts and labor by one shop out here, but haven't shopped anywhere else yet.

I'm not worried about a little whine...I got Loudmouths

I do travel a lot in my car though and wanted to know what RPM's you are running on the highway at around 80-90mph
