i have a 93 race car and a 93 4 banger. the 4 banger stopped working so i pulled the 1 out and it worked in the race car so i knew it was good and it still would not work in the 4 banger. the switch for the hazards went out and the turn signals would not work

Mine did this on my 89 4 banger soupe im rebuilding. The pic below is the right side of the steering column, the area with the red circles has metal tabs that hold the plastic plug up to it. They had come a little loose which made the contact between then bad. Tapped them tighter and it works perfectly now.

I recently had a couple of wires come loose in the turn signal switch wiring harness on the steering column. The signals would intermittantly work. I ended up working with the wires in the plug and got them to connect back with the switch.

There are several connections, and if only one of them is off, it could cause the signals to stop working.

Good luck!

I had the same problem and the wire that goes into the connector that "94GTHO" has the picture of came loose inside the connector.
