Recently upgraded to a 31 spline axles and a detroit truetrac locker. after about a week of driving I noticed im leaking oil from a wheel, so I am trying to replace the axel seal. But I am having a hard time getting to axel to come out.
I removed the snap ring and retaining plate from the truetrac but can't get the cross pin out so I can pull the axle out. Is there a trick to getting it out, i've been using a flat head screwdriver and fiddling with it the last hour with no luck.
the brake caliper and abs sensor are disconnected.
I had a mustang veteran help me install the axles and trutrac, I didn't really see how he did it. Now i'm on my own and need HELP!
