i cant get the damn starter of my 98 GT. I have removed the 2 bolts that hold it on and i have removed the 2 wires on the front of the starter. I have put some force on the starter trying to wiggle it and it wont budge..what is going on here

3 bolts on the starter. to get the top one, get alot of extentions, and you can get at it easier from over the K-member. This is how I have always done it.98blackstallion said:i cant get the damn starter of my 98 GT. I have removed the 2 bolts that hold it on and i have removed the 2 wires on the front of the starter. Hard lesson I learned as a kid. Crack all 3 bolts b4 pulling any of them. If you are not carefull you will snap the head off the 3rd bolt.
Ahh...your just saying that because you want to get into his pants.sgarlic said:Excellent bit of advice.

Im going ot tech school to learn mechanics and i have worked on quite a few cars and ford by far has done someof the most ridiculous things with there placements of bolts and parts lol.
