I finally got my hypercoated saleen wheels from American Muscle, and am having major issues. I first tried to mount them with my stock tire iron. Too Big. Then I went to a tire shop and asked someone what to do. They told me to get a thin walled flip socket. So I went to NAPA (closest store), and got one. Got back to the house, jacked it up again, and the socket would fit down in the hole, but it seems like the stud isn't exactly center when the wheel is sitting on them. So its like I need an even thinner socket. Anyone have this issue with this wheel or any wheel in general? American Muscle told me "weve sold thousands of this wheel and have never had any issues...." So whats the solution? Any ideas. I know I can just take it to a shop and let them figure it out, but if i ever get a flat, im gonna need a solution. Help....

If you look at this picture, it may give you a better idea of the wheel.

I have the saleen wheels and bought the acorn lugnuts that AM sells with them. I use a regular craftsmen rachet set and craftsmen sockets and dont have any troubles getting them in the lugnut hole. Not sure what to tell you to get them off.

It's your lugnuts, they didnt give you new ones? I bought mine on ebay and they came with the correct nuts and star tire iron works fine for me.
