still fighting my missing problem with the small amount of time i have....to sum it up i have tried numerous times to pull codes from the computer with a analog multimeter and the test light method....hooking everything up the right way of course (ive done this 1000's of times) even tapping into the wires before they go into the connector in case the connector is bad...and i dont get anything no blinks no sweeps nothing at all....what gives?!?! is my computer bad?? im thinking the problem would be revealed in a code but i cant get any :bang: anybody?????

:EDIT: here is the link to my post http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=498264

i have checked/replaced alot of things including
new-

i have a spare FPR and TFI im gonna put on tomorrow and see if that helps...but i really need to get codes out of this thing

i had a similar problem with my car. Couldn't pull codes, When i got it started it ran like crap. the only difference is that if i tried to hook up a tester to check the codes, My car wouldn't start for a day??. It turned out to be my computer.

With power off, use an Ohmmeter to check the resistance of the black/white wire on the big test connector and battery ground. You should see less than 1 Ohm. More than that indicates wiring problems for the signal ground circuit that provides ground for the MAP, EGR, TPS, ECT & ACT sensors.

See the following website for some help from Tmoss (diagram designer) & Stang&2Birds (website host) for help on 88-90 wiring
