Ok i'm going to cut to the chase here. I put new plugs in, changed my CAI to the stock setup. It ran beautiful down the road (about 1/2 mi), stumbled, and wouldn't restart.
Problem: The car cranks and cranks but just won't start or run.
1. All gauges work, interior lights, battery has good charge and is not a charging issue.
2. Code reader won't work for the Key On Engine Off test. I changed the batteries in it, retried about 30 times. And it just sits there and won't do anything. ECM relay maybee?
3. Spark: Nothing anywhere, swapped coil and nothing, rechecked plugs are brand new.
4. TFI module: Does not get voltage to the harness, backprobbed the 1st terminal (dark green wire) for the stator connection and it does not flash while trying to crank. I removed it and autozone tested it and said it is fine.
5. Stator Sensor: Is not getting voltage from the harness.
6. Fuses: checked each with a test light and are fine, the fuseable links on the side are getting power.
7. Ignition Switch: Checked continuity and everything seems good except for the 'off' and 'lock' positions from P1 to P2. I checked a replacement at autozone and theirs does the same thing. So I'm assuming that the switch is good.
Edit: Ok tonight, when I get home I'm going to put everything back on that I took off to test. I will check to make sure the injectors are pulsing. If I have to move on any further i'll check the ECM relay and then check all the fuseable links once I find them. If all appears good then I guess i'll have to start checking continuity in the associated wires. Thanks guys, i'll update this if I need anymore help!
