My mustang ran on 4 YES FOUR cylinders the other week when Adam and I were working on it. It started right up and would have driven down the road...all of about 275HP/na, lol.

The fuel could be from it not starting...ie; fuel but no spark which could be module related. However, I'd apply standard troubleshooting techniques prior to throwing parts at it...

Although it's a Chebbie, the aforementioned methods of checking for fuel and spark would still apply

good luck...stang is down too huh?...when it rains it pours...time for some Mikky Dee's breakfast

heh you don't know even half of if ....

in october, my wife needed a root canal. insurance only covered $500 of it. there goes $2500

then she needed a crown on another tooth ... $1700

then her cabrio's transmission went out ... $3000

then we needed new windows in the basement ... $1600

then the bill for my son's college came ... $6500 (spring semester)

then we had water in the basement ... the guys are here now installing a sump pump ... $3500

there goes my emergency fund

no update and probably not one for a while. my son went back to school on sunday and took it with him.

but when it is not so freaking cold out, it doesn't crank nearly as much before it starts. so now the theory is that the cold causes the starter to take enough current that the coil can't make a very good spark. when he is back for spring break, maybe i'll get around to pulling the distributor cap off
