Well I found out some information about my stang. They haven't gotten to the tranny yet.. they are still fixing what the starter broke Apparently the gears on my starter shattered and metal shards got all in my bellhousing, and they messed up my flywheel and my clutch. Now my flywheel has to be either replaced or turned, and i have to get a new clutch. Fun times..

The starter on my Cobra did that many years back. Unfortunately, I was about 200 miles from home and a piece of the starter wedged itself between the throwout bearing and the flywheel so I couldn't clutch. I had to drive all the way home powershifting and running through stopsigns and red lights.

Damn, I lucked out. I drove around the block when I figured out something had to be wrong and I drove it home. I noticed my clutch felt a little limp, when it's generally pretty stiff.

You're lucky you're not a guy Megan, cause you'd be getting ribbed pretty good for that statement .
