Well, i think we're going to keep the mustang. so yesterday, i took it out for a spin, and it died on me...again.
now, the ignition coil isnt secured properly at the moment. Its just sitting on the intake manifold, resting on a valve cover. But i drove it anyways.
after about 5 minutes, the car died. While rolling, i put it in second, and popped the clutch. the engine turned over, but it wouldnt fire up.
I had it pulled back to my driveway.
Later that evening, it fired right up, and i pulled it into the garage.
when the car wouldnt start. i could actually pick up the coil. it didnt feel too hot to touch. and the car was getting fuel.
what could have been the reason that the car wouldnt start on me after driving for a bit?
