Just finished up a heads cam install' the cam is the n21 afm cam and seems pretty mild but the car is having idleing issues ' in order to start up the car you have got to keep the gas pedel to the floor then it will start but you also have to keep it at around 3000 rpms for a minute and it will level off on the idle' i have low compression in 1 cylinder ' what would cause this ' any suggestions would be awsome as i need this beast on the road.

Heres the cam specs. http://i43.tinypic.com/24awyew.jpg

Engine that has had the heads off or valves adjusted - do a compression test to make sure the valves are not adjusted too tight. You should have a minimum of 90 PSI on a cold engine.

The rockers are crane cam 1.7 rr .

Would a weak cylinder cause a hard start ' when it warms up it will idle fine' iv just gotta keep on the gas for abit when starting.

How did you adjust them there is a specific procedure you have to follow or it will hang a valve open.
I have done this and it was missing really bad at idle then you give it gas and it would go away.

Do you know if they are pedestal or stud mount?
