My car dies when I put it into drive or reverse or sitting at a stop for a while after it warms up, I have to keep the rpms at about 900 other wise it chugs once or twice and eventually dies. I have the e303 cam w/ a 2400 converter. The IAC is all good I believe, we checked it and it was reading fine when I was in park but when I put it into drive or reverse the reading jumps way out of range and the car surges forword and then chugs a lil and dies. What could be the problem other than it needing tuned.

Do a search about "resetting the idle". This will cure the dying problem. If you cant find it just IM me and I will tell you how to do it.

ya. thats your prob.

right after i installed my h/c/i combo, i took it out for my test drive and it would stall when i put into drive.

the idle was set pretty low on the aftermarket throttlebody so after adjusting it, no more problems
