Car Dies on Start up...

It started today while I was working. I started my car and instantly pretty much it dies and I hear a pop from my exhaust and then the car dies. It happened twice today, it was kinda hit or miss. Anyone have any ideas??

IAC (Idle Air Control)

Do a search on it and you'll find your fix

I cleaned mine many of years ago and never had problems with it again, while some have to go out and buy another.

did you check your mass air flow sensor make sure all the wiers are conected to you intake.

its most likely the iac took a crap. if it was running fine before then the iac is the most likely prob. any mil codes?

Mine was doing the same thing the last week I had it,but mine was the plugs,they were bad,why I dunno cuz I had replaced them a year before.
