car door hard to open

my car door chewed the plastic part on the door striker, so i replaced it and its starting to chew up the new plastic i put on (the tube part) what should i do to fix this? thanx

The door is probably sagging... www.50resto.com sells a door hinge pin kit for $25 I think that should solve the problem.

Or you could go to Autozone and snag a doorpin kit for $6. It's a PITA job, but it did fix the problem for me.

i already did the top door hinge pin like a month ago, guess i didnt do it right hehe
i went through 4 of those damn copper things (so i had to buy 2 kits) cuase they kept getting smashed
