Well i havent posted on this yet but it has been doing it for awhile, have im i just used to the power or what??? i think it feels slow on take off, when i first did the 5 speed swap it felt like a new car but now even after a new clutch 2 months ago it still feels sluggish, anybody else having these problems? how did you fix it, i cleaned the pro-m mass air and the intake temp sensor already, anymore ideas?

Could have blown a head gasket, the rings could be shot, the stock h-pipe could be clogged, you could need a tune up, your brakes could be rubbing, you could have the timing off. You need to do more diagnostics.

What method of tuning did you use when you did your tranny swap? Do you now run a T4MO ECU? It sounds like a timing issue to me.

I am running a T4MO ECU after the tranny swap, my timing is at 9* because it pings at 10* and have done a full tune-up (MSD Dizzy, MSD coil, MSD cap&rotor, MSD wires, Autolite plugs) plus new FPR, and new air idle control valve.

easier said than done... i been throwing stuff at my car for ever trying to fix my detonation issues and it's just not happening, lol... i'm going to break down here very soon and just replace every sensor I can get my hands on, lol...

i bet you have a vacuum leak somewhere. spray carb cleaner at different places while it is idling.

and check the FPR and PCV vacuum tubes too.

my EGR tube was loose and that was causing my pinging.

yep, that very tube. the coupling nuts on both ends were loose. go figure.
