Actually, you are missing it. The important piece is the one that goes in between those two side pieces (there is a piece that goes across the middle). It cost me about 15 bucks at the dealer or from LRS to get one. I dont think the lack of the vanity cover above the radiator has one thing at all to do with it. I now get it about the issues just now cropping up with your cooling system. I thought it might have gotten warmer (ambiently) in recent weeks, enough-so to perhaps show a new issue. We dont know the exact situation nearly as intimately as you; the best we can do is toss out ideas, some of which you can immediately shoot down because you know better than us.The Green GT said:But why would it JUST start doing this?
EDIT: Do you think taking off that black plastic radiator cover in combination with the missing dam would make it do that? I took it off to put on my lights and decided to repaint it black and do the letters blue so I havent put it back on yet.
Yea, I have started to think that its the rise in temp around here recently.
