Car has no power, doesn't rev well and jumpy. Spark issue?

Spark plugs were the issue. Fixed

Now new issue, i need the timing pointer that bolts to our block... must have lost mine doing the swap.

Junkyard or can i order one. w/o it i cant set base timing to rule it out.

Now that spark is good, i noticed my MAF voltage is very high... 1.5 volt at idle it used to be around .80.

i havent rotated the maf, it is still straight up and down. but i have added a 3 foot snorkle hose in front of it to stop the turbulent air issue i was having. When i changed the spark plugs the inlet tube droped with the maf connected and may have tugged some wire out. the MAF volage is also very irradic at idel jumping volts at a time.

I am going to re splice the MAF wiring with all new connections.
The day before it rained for the first time, so the MAF may be dirty.
Build a small water deflector for the air filter.

Suggestions welcome.

MAF fixed,

re spliced 4 wires and soaked the **** out of it with MAF cleaner

Now the car takes my tuning and is running stable.

Car still doesn't rev fast enough and doesn't get up and go.

So now i'm down to the following...

1. Spark wires (they should be fine) but i made them myself Mr. Badwrench
2. Cap / rotor? were replaced shortly... like 2 weeks before the engine swap
3. Coil? has been painted, bracket is painted, and bracket to head is painted... so this can be a grounding issue if this does in fact need to be grounded.

1. You should be able to test the spark plug wires by buying a set at your local store and trying them out. Return them if they don't solve the problem.
2. Can't hurt to check for corrosion.
3. I believe these need to be grounded through the block. When I painted my engine, I marked where the brackets were touching and scraped off the paint in between.
