Hi guys, my father has a 98 4.6 with an automatic transmission. Ever since the car was new when we rev it up in neutral the engine holds the rev and they slowly comes down. It's not a tight rev up and rev down like my 5.0. Anybody know what this is? I heard somewhere that it has something to do with the pollution control. If so, is there any trick to get rid of this problem? Thanks.
