How can i raise the idle of my vehicle it is idling at a paltry 650 or so,i would like tog et it to idle at around 900-1k rpms. what are my options?

car has a 92 302 motor in it, mostly stock,i have tried moving tps but it seems to jus go right back to normal after shutting it off and turning back on

650ish is where it should be. Why do you want to raise the idle? All you will do is waste fuel.

Fuel is not an issue. Alternator output is. There is a mechman 320 amp hairpin alternator installed on the vehicle and to get better output at idle I would like to raise the idle

I was thinking about clipping soemthing onto the throttle stop screw that can be taken off or put on when needed ( stereo competition or demo purpose)

A pair of C clamp style Visegrips and a piece of wood works good for me.

Put the wood against the throttle linkage and push it until the idle is where you want it, The use the C clamp Visegrips to clamp the wood against the oil filler tube.

TheC clamp or Visegrip pliers need an opening big enough to go around the oil filler neck .
